A lot more compact that a Fender tube reverb unit that’s as big as an amp head, but still provides the fat, wet sound of spring reverb. Hand made in the USA, the Faux Spring Reverb uses Level, Tone and Depth controls to provide much more control than an amp’s single reverb knob. Wampler uses high grade film capacitors and resistors hand-picked for superior tone and, of course, true bypass. Max reverb time is nearly 3 seconds, which is plenty. It’s powered by a 9V battery or by a Boss-type barrel plug. Sells new for $228. This clean used one is $149.
